  • The 2nd Tuesday of every month Tulalip Health and Safety Department holds an open Health and Safety Meeting at 10:00AM. Snacks are provided and everyone is welcome. The meeting will be at beda?chelh.
  • Tulalip Health and Safety will be offering free TOSHA training to Tribal members and employees.Details are below

Tribal Members and employees are welcome to take part in these courses at no charge thanks to a Susan Harwood grant through the U.S. Department of Labor. Participants in the course will receive one college credit in the OSH program at Edmonds Community college per completed course.

Students will learn:

  • Basic accident prevention strategies
  • The concept of proactive versus reactive safety practices
  • To evaluate specific jobs and work areas for risks and hazards
  • To design accident and injury prevention plans
  • Incident investigation and reporting processes

OSH 155 - Work-Comp Claims Process
Students will learn:

  • The claims process, from start to finish
  • To Complete and review the Tribal First accident forms
