TTL Wins Semifinalist Honoring Nations Award
Tulalip Technology Leap (TTL) is a 2002 Semifinalist for the Honoring Contributions in the Governance of American Indian Nations award. This Harvard project on American Indian Economic Development identifies and shares information on the best examples of Tribal Governance, and programs are selected on the basis of their ability to address the main needs and challenges facing American Indian nations. The TTL initiative is a semifinalist out of 82 applicants for this award.
"It is a great honor to be recognized as a semifinalist for this prestigious award, especially since the TTL is just in its early stages of development," says Dr. William Erdly, Director of TTL. "The project's objective is to preserve the past, while building a future. It is an innovative plan to help the Tulalip Tribes advance into the Information Age."
