The 2004 Tulalip Hazard Mitigation Plan is now available online. It was prepared as part of a nationwide effort involving states, local communities and tribes, and is intended to inform the Tulalip community about the disastrous effects natural hazards, such as earthquakes, floods and severe weather, can have on their property and families.

The plan meets the requirements of the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 (DMA 2000) and makes the Tulalip Tribes eligible for pre- and post-hazard mitigation grant funding, which can potentially make the Tulalip Reservation more resilient to the damaging effects of natural hazards.

The plan can be found on the Tulalip Office of Emergency Management's website.
