Tulalip Tribes Planning Commission

Notice of Public Hearing

The Tulalip Tribes Planning Commission is holding a Public Hearing on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 6:00 PM to receive testimony from community members concerning the proposed Tulalip Bay Phase 3 Subdivision at 4321 Marine Drive near Hermosa Road. (Due to inclement weather the Feb 13th Public hearing was canceled.)

The proponent, Tulalip Tribes proposes to create 13 lots for lease to Tribal families. Rezone, Subdivision and Variance approvals are required for this proposal. The Planning Commission will review a Planned Unit Development overlay rezone proposal for the “Rural Residential” zoning per Tulalip Tribes Title 7 Land Use Code that governs zoning and subdivisions and related improvements and allows for increased single family residential density.

Public Testimony is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM. at the Tulalip Administration Building, Room 264, 6406 Marine Drive NW, Tulalip, WA 98271. Written comments are due by February 25, 2019.

A Variance from the required 5 acre minimum tract size for a Planned Unit Development needs administrative approval. Variance comments are due by February 21, 2019.
