John McCoy (lulilaš) Since Time Immemorial (JMLSTI): Tribal Sovereignty in Washington State
We believe in the importance of teaching our history and culture. In 2015, the Washington State Legislature passed a bill that requires all schools to teach the John McCoy (lulilaš) Since Time Immemorial (JMLSTI) curriculum or other tribally-developed curricula. Endorsed by all 29 federally recognized tribes, this curriculum ensures that our sovereignty is understood and celebrated by all.
