The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has proposed reissuing the 2026 Nationwide Permits (NWPs), which authorize a range of activities, including aids to navigation, temporary recreational structures, bank stabilization, and survey activities. These activities may result in minor environmental impacts, including episodic turbidity, reduced dissolved oxygen, and minimal oil, grease, or contaminants from machinery operation.
