The Tulalip Tribes will one day have efficient and well-written policies and procedures that include fairness, equality, and safety for employees that are interpreted easily and followed by all.
We offer our services to all employees, departments, and divisions of The Tulalip Tribes, which include Tribal Government, Tulalip Resort Casino(s), Tribal Gaming and Quil Ceda Village. We seek to provide a safe and autonomous environment for our clients, separate from Human Resource departments, to assist with the interpretation of policy and ordinances and to investigate both sides of an employment issue.
The Compliance Department was formed at a Special General Council meeting held September 30, 1995. The following motion was made:
"Motion made to develop and implement a Compliance Department, separate from the HR Department that investigates both sides that can create a little autonomy and safety for employees and for supervisors as well, to make sure all personnel policies are followed correctly."
The Compliance Department services are available to all employees of the Tulalip Tribes and its entities. All employees are encouraged to contact the Compliance Department to assist with their employment related issues or concerns.
