Frequently Asked Questions

  • You must have a balance under $3000 when your application is received. You must be in good standing on your loan payment. When you apply by the noon Friday deadline, your check will be ready for pick up on the following Friday, provided all documents are submitted and signed, and you qualify for a loan.
  • Contact membership distribution to issue a stop payment on the check. We need to wait until seven days after it has been mailed to allow the mail to deliver or return it. At that point, Membership Distribution can start the process to void the check and reissue it to you.
  • Notify Membership Distribution, complete the Direct Deposit cancelation form, and Membership will work with Treasury Management to recall the deposit. This requires a wait time of five to seven days before we can reissue as we have to wait for the funds to be returned before a check can be issued for the funds.
  • To have ample time to process the new Direct Deposit information, we ask that you submit it to Membership Distribution by the 18th of each month. You will need to be sure to include bank verification of your ABA Routing number and your account number. This can be in the form of a voided check or a letter from your bank. If this is for a minor, please be sure that your name as the custodial parent and the child’s name is listed on the bank letter.
  • Fourteen days after you cancel your Direct Deposit, you will be automatically enrolled in the Key2Prepaid account, and Key bank will mail you a card to your address that is on file with enrollment.
